At St Andrew’s, we encourage our Year 6 pupils to develop confidence and independence in their reading. Regular independent reading helps children deepen their understanding, expand their vocabulary, and prepare for the demands of secondary school. To support this, we use Accelerated Reader, which helps pupils choose appropriately challenging books and track their progress. After finishing a book, children can complete their Accelerated Reader quiz at home by clicking here: Renaissance Learning Login 

We use DoodleMaths in school to support pupils with personalised, engaging maths practice. Children can access DoodleMaths at home using the following link: DoodleMaths Login. We encourage children to complete short sessions regularly—ideally daily—but at least three times a week to make the most of the programme’s benefits.
