Science week 2025 Round Up!
What an incredible Science Week we’ve had! From exciting investigations to inspiring visitors, our students have truly embraced the theme of ‘Adapt and Change’ through hands-on learning and exploration.
Highlights of the Week:
Thursday: We kicked off with a visit from Gryphon School’s Miss Guest, who led fantastic investigations—KS1 did invisable writting, while KS2 explopded vitimin tablets!
Friday: Robert Ball, an engineer from Thales inspired us with his talk on AI and engineering, launching our STEM competition: ‘If you were an engineer, what would you design?’
Wednesday: Leonardo’s STEM committee joined us for the day, working with each class making paper helicopters fly!
Friday: We ended on a high with the immersive Science Dome experience! Each class explored a different theme—Acorn went Under the Sea, Willow journeyed Earth and Beyond, Maple , and Oak explored the Dinosaur Show. A huge thank you to the Boyles Trust for funding this amazing experience!
Pupils have loved engaging with Science in such fun and interactive ways. Thank you to all our staff, visitors, and supporters who made this week so special!
